This diploma thesis contains design documentation of of a new hotel in Lipno nad Vltavou near the Lipno reservoir. It is a building with three floors, a non-residential attic and a partial basement, where there will be underground garages for guests and technical facilities of the hotel. The building will accommodate a total of 70 people in 27 hotel rooms. The building is also equipped with a hotel restaurant, gym, massages and a sauna. The structure of the building is designed as masonry system manufactured by Heluz, supplemented by a reinforced concrete skeletal system, outside walls have a contact thermal isulation. Only the basement walls are made of permanent concrete framework. Horizontal structures are made of reinforced concrete monolithic slabs. The roofing is designed with two rounded opposite counter roofs in two levels raised by roof trusses and further supplemented by a flat vegetation roof. The modern look is underlined by the materials used. These include the glazed railings of balconies or terraces and their location, as well as the combination of white facades with facade cladding made of fiber-cement boards in imitation wood. The design was concentrated on high user comfort and overall modern concept of the hotel.
Design of representative car
Nevřela, Petr ; Paliatka, Peter (referee) ; Karásek, David (advisor)
My concept of a premium car conforms to all the requirements of the premium car segment. The car should at first sight look majestic. Strong styling is supplemented with luxury elements. The applied engine comprises contemporary technological transition to alternative engines. What makes this project more conceptual is taking advantage of advanced technology. This diploma project is not designed for any known car manufacturer. This method is demanding because the final concept cannot be associated with any known brand and at the same time offers maximum freedom of styling.
Control System of Building using Modelling and Simulation
Sample projects for operator panels
Urbánek, Matouš ; Šír, Michal (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
In this bachelor’s thesis will learn about the development of exemplary projects that are designed with fixed functionality for operator panels SIEMENS (BASIC, COMFORT, RT). For this task, I have a development environment TIA portal that brings together many software tools and programs. With which allowed me to create code for specific hardware, and communication with him, or in simulation mode to test the behavior of the application in a real environment. Code, on the PLC is required for the platform (PLC) S7-1200. It is modern and provides flexibility in making out our needs in automatik. The task is engaged, firstly synchronization solution PLC and HMI operator panel. Secondly resipes in these panels.
Measuring the Manoeuvres of Public Transport Vehicles to Determine a Comfortable and Safe Ride
Hlavová, Vendula ; Petrás, Jan (referee) ; Tokař, Stanislav (advisor)
The comfort perceived by passengers during transport in public transport plays a vital role, and its improvement can lead to attracting more customers. For this reason, there is a constant effort to improve the comfort of the passenger. This thesis deals with the objective measurement of the maneuvers of MHD in Brno (tram, trolleybus, bus) with the XL Meter and together with the subjective evaluation of the standing and sitting figurant, determines the limit values of longitudinal and transverse acceleration for comfortable ride and dangerous ride, which can lead to accidents to passengers.
Comparison of semi-active and conventional vehicles suspension systems in terms of driving comfort
Baroš, Eduard ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Suchý, Jan (advisor)
The main object of this bachelor thesis is comparing characteristic properties of selected types of suspension affecting driving comfort of vehicles. The introduction briefly acquaints the history and purpose of the suspension. It describes the dynamics of vehicle suspension. It includes distribution, description of the construction and activity of the suspension elements, their use in conventional type of suspension and semi-active suspension system. Further classifies known suspension systems into categories and deeply analyses their properties. The result is a comparison focusing on driving comfort. The last chapter is dedicated to suspension developing trends in near future.
Measuring the Driving Manoeuvres of Public Transport Vehicles
Habr, Vojtěch ; Semela, Marek (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
Master’s thesis focuses on the the comfort and safety of passengers when using public transport vehicles. The introductory part summarizes previous studies and experiments on a similar topic. It also analyzes the development of night transport in public transport in Brno. The experimental part then describes the methodology and interprets the results of objective measurement of vehicle maneuvers with the XL Meter together with the subjective evaluation by passengers. Based on the outputs of these activities, it determines longitudinal and transverse acceleration limits for a comfortable and safe ride. In addition, emphasis is also placed on comparing the ride thorugh the measuring points during the day and at night. The analysis of the findings compares the results with previously performed experiments.
